Into the Gyre
Into the Gyre is a 45-minute documentary film following the journey of a team of scientists searching for plastic pollution in the remote Saragasso Sea. This expedition, run by Woods Hole's Sea Education Association, measured the amount of plastic in the Atlantic Ocean and studied its effects on marine ecosystems, with surprising results.

The People's Bay
New, familiar, and prize winning shorts made on the Bay, around the Bay, or about Bay life. Ranging in length from 30 seconds to 20 minutes, they'll take you down to the docks, out to sea, and back in time. We've got animation and acrobatics, dancing girls, swans and swimmers, all part of the Bay that unites us, shore to shore. Some of the films' directors will be present to discuss their work.
